I obtained my bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Ton Duc Thang University in 2024 with great distinction. During my undergraduate studies, I focused on researching about English pronunciation areas to enhance the pronunciation and fluency for EFL learners. In addition, after graduation I have experience in teaching English pronuniciation and communication for college students and adults, one year ago, I started to teach English speacializing in IELTS program for young people. Therefore, I realized that I need to deepen my intensive knowledge regarding advanced English language to support my teaching career in the future, I decided to enroll English Master's degree in Linguistics and Literary studies: Multilingualism and Foreign Language Acquisition at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, I am writing my Master's thesis on the use of English discourse markers among Vietnamese and Spanish learners with the supervision from Prof. Dr. An Vande Casteele. To enhance my research skills, I am currently enrolled in the Talent for Research programme with research coach Prof. Dr. An Vande Casteele and PhD researcher Anastasija Jagafarova, and the research project that I am joining is Pragmalinguistic Competence in Spanish L1 and L2. In the future, I want to pursue the Ph.D program in linguistics and become a lecturer in a university.
