Nelle Simonet

Nelle Simonet obtained her master’s degree in Linguistics and Literary Studies at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2023. She is currently (2024-2028) working on a research project funded by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO). Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rik Vosters, her research in the field of historical (socio)linguistics focuses on examining unsuccessful standardization attempts in the history of Dutch between 1550 and 1850.
