Mona Hosseini
Biography
Mona Hosseini obtained a bachelor’s degree in Persian Language and Literature with a minor in English Language and Literature from the University of Tehran in 2024. During her studies, she completed a semester-long internship at the Academy of Persian Language and Literature. In the same year, she enrolled in the master’s program in Linguistics and Literary Studies, where she is currently conducting her thesis research under the supervision of Teja Rebernik and working with Esli Struys and Mathieu Declerck on her Talent for Research project. Her main research interests lie in the fields of neurolinguistics and psycholinguistics. Mona’s current work focuses on two areas: speech variability in Childhood Apraxia of Speech and the impact of switch frequency on cognitive switch costs. In the future, she intends to pursue an academic career focusing on speech disorders in different populations.
