BIO:
Mohammed Saed is a doctoral candidate at CLIN (Center for Linguistics) in the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies (LIST) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). His research interests, among other areas, include: language acquisition, language education and bilingualism.
His current project explores biliteracy development in English as an L2 and Arabic as both L1 and L2 with special reference to the interrelationship between L1 and L2 literacy development in terms of spelling skills and word recognition
