Dr. Feyza Altınkamış

Dr. Feyza Altınkamış is an affiliated researcher at the Brussels Centre for Language Studies (BCLS), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium. She holds a PhD in Linguistics and English Language Teaching and has extensive experience in academic research, language education, and international educational cooperation. Her research focuses on multilingualism, heritage language education, family language policies, linguistic diversity in educational settings, and the educational experiences of multilingual children and families. She is particularly interested in inclusive and multilingual pedagogical approaches, the integration of language learning into STEM education, and the role of education in fostering social inclusion and intercultural understanding. Alongside her academic work, she is actively involved in European educational projects, particularly Erasmus+ initiatives promoting multilingualism, inclusive education, and innovative teaching practices. She is also the co-founder and educational coordinator of the Institute for Turkish Studies, Integration and Research in Belgium, where she contributes to heritage language education and community-based educational initiatives.
