Brenthe Tilburghs

After obtaining her master’s degree in Taal- en Letterkunde (VUB, profile Multilingualism and Foreign Language Acquisition) in 2021, Brenthe Tilburghs started working as a teaching assistant for Spanish linguistic and literary courses at VUB. In November 2023, FWO granted her a fellowship for fundamental research for her research project "Bueno, pues... Learning pragmatic competence from a multilingual perspective: the use of turn-initial pragmatic markers in L2 Spanish". This research project is supervised by Prof. Dr. An Vande Casteele (VUB).
